The Full Story

          Hi there! My name is Andrew Alkema, and I am a Licensed Realtor® at Keller Williams Property Team. I have a background in real estate investing and management, and I am passionate about helping my community grow. As a Realtor, I am dedicated to providing exceptional value and guidance to my clients as they navigate the often-complex process of buying or selling a home.

          I am a native of Merced, California, and I have spent most of my life in the area. I only left to attend college in San Diego, but I quickly realized how much I missed my hometown and knew I wanted to build my future here. When I moved back, I met Lexi, the love of my life. In a romantic and elaborate proposal, I took Lexi to Napa for her birthday and arranged for a hot air balloon ride with the hot air balloon company unfurling a banner on the ground as we lifted off that said "Will you marry me?" She said yes, and now we are happily married.

          When I'm not working with my amazing clients, I enjoy spending time with Lexi and our two dogs, Ryker and Daisy. We love to travel and spend time at our family cabin. I also enjoy golfing, snowboarding, and one-wheeling. My other areas of personal importance are growing in my faith and discipleship, intentionally focusing on being a better version of myself today than I was yesterday, mentoring others, and reading personal development books.

          In addition to my professional and personal pursuits, I am committed to giving back to my community. I have served on the Greater Merced Chamber of Commerce and currently serve on the board of the premier private economic development group, Merced Boosters. I also volunteer with organizations like Love INC and the Merced Rescue Mission.
